Hello! My name is Stephanie Quijano and I am a 22 year old makeup artist. Makeup has been the main creative outlet that has helped me learn about myself and identity. I have struggle with my mental health throughout my life; however, I've never had the fund to afford health insurance. Because of that, I had to ind my own way of coping with what was happening both in my head and around me. Makeup helped take me out of a dark place and has allowed me to learn how to freely express myself and appreciate myself. My goal in the makeup industry is to change the stereotypes and beauty standards within the business. I aim to create a safe space for anyone of any background and help them feel the most confident on their special occasion. Makeup has helped me so much on my own personal journey, so all I want to do is provide that same experience for everyone I work with.
